The HamOntYouth Steering Committee is for all youth 14-29 who live in the city of Hamilton. The meetings are a safe space for youth to meet new people, learn about the community, to be heard and to have fun.
Youth are diverted from the formal youth justice process, while being held accountable for their actions in a community context.
Collects new and gently used clothing and household items (dishes, pots and pans, linens, etc.). These items are given away free of charge to those in need in the Hamilton and surrounding community.
Holds a number of annual events that count on community volunteers to participate and aid in cleaning, stream rehabilitation, and native tree and shrub plantings.

Quilting guild that meets monthly to share knowledge and skills. Offers workshops to members and has an Outreach Program which makes lap quilts, breast support pillows, and other items for various community organizations.

Provides personalized support to individuals who are seeking to change their substance use. Participants learn to identify and deal with triggers while living in the community. Programs are offered in-person and virtually.
The Baby Depot collects, recycles, and distributes a year’s worth of gently used baby clothes and essentials to local families in need through a network of community partners. They do not distribute these items directly.
A club open to those affiliated with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry regimental family, as well as all members of the community. Activities offered include euchre, darts, cribbage, bingo, snooker, dances, tribute shows, crafting classes.
