IDHC provides programs and services focusing on the development, and enhancement of programs and services focusing on the education, prevention, and management of diabetes in Indigenous communities, both on and off-reserve.

Serves street-involved youth ages 16-21 in Hamilton, meeting youth at various residential and non-residential programs within Good Shepherd Youth Services and the Street Youth Planning Collaborative (SYPC). 

Program offers: 

Provides alternatives and options for individuals experiencing serious mental illness who become involved in the criminal justice system. 

This program is comprised of three components:

Licensed child care centre offering full day child care in Hamilton for 16 months to 5 years. Morning and afternoon snack and hot lunch are provided.

Online website for Hamilton Trans Health Coalition, a non-profit coalition of health care providers, advocates, and community members working to increase the capacity of health systems in Hamilton, Ontario to meet the needs of trans, gender-diverse, and non-binary people.

Offers walk-in medical care for patients with urgent health concerns that cannot wait for a family doctor. Staffed by emergency room doctors and provides care for a range of issues including minor broken bones, respiratory illnesses, and minor infections. Also houses Hamilton Health Science's preoperative clinic and special immunology clinic. Part of the Hamilton Health Sciences Network.
 

Speak with a counsellor or live chat with a sexual health expert about sexual health, STIs (sexually transmitted infections), or reproductive health. There is also a searchable list of local clinics that can help with sexual health issues.
