Volunteers at Hamilton Health Sciences support patients in many different programs across the hospitals, from children’s to seniors’ care. Placements are offered in both clinical and common areas of the hospital.

A stay-in-school program designed to reduce poverty and its effects by lowering the dropout rate among high school students from economically disadvantaged communities, and increase their participation in post-secondary programs.
Confidential helpline for Francophone women dealing with violence that offers:
- crisis intervention
- support and referral to community agencies
A 24/7 free and confidential crisis line that offers emotional support and assistance to survivors of Canada's Residential Schools.
Provides community based supports for adults with developmental disabilities with a focus on skill building, pre-employment opportunities and literacy skills.
A drop-in centre for youth 8-19 years old, providing a welcoming space for learning, growing, building relationships, having fun, and offering support to experience fulfilling routes
Vendor of assistive devices, including daily living aids, cell phones suitable for older adults, and alarm and appointment reminder devices. Also provides consultation, training, and after sales support.
Specially trained volunteers offer companionship, respite for caregivers, connection to palliative resources, and/or outings for adults and children. Support is provided through one-on-one visits with residents.
Provides support and leadership for local business issues relating to the community of Flamborough. Maintains a directory of local businesses.
Follow-up medical care once discharged from the hospital relating to jaundice care and breastfeeding support from a Lactation Consultant.
