Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Day Camp Programs

Our “campground” is not only the Museum facility but we also visit the entire John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport including the air traffic control tower. In addition to aviation related crafts and games, the highlight of the week is definitely a flight in the Museum's vintage Douglas Dakota.

All summer camps include: daily hot lunch and nutritious snacks, airport vocabulary and terminology, camp t-shirt, model building, flight simulator time, visit to the air traffic control tower, visit to the airport fire department, visit to airport tenants, pop bottle rocket contest, ejection seat challenge, and a 20 minute flight in the Museum's Douglas Dakota.
