Child Care Referral

Assists families who are eligible for a child care placement when a child is deemed at-risk by a professional. Referrals end when child is eligible to attend Full Day Kindergarten.

Families that require child care due to the special needs of a child or if the parent/guardian is unable to care for the child due to illness/disability. Referrals end when child is eligible for Full Day Kindergarten.


Referrals from a professional is required. Qualified referring agents include: Children's Aid Worker, Medical Doctor, Pediatrician, Nurse Practitioner, Public Health Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker, Speech Language Pathologist, Resource Teacher, or other Health Care professionals that are involved with the family. Referrals are faxed directly to the referring agent to be completed and consent is signed by the parent/guardian.


None - Fees are based as completed income test
