Bridge Program

Operated in partnership with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, program aims to integrate youth at risk for re-offense into community schools or alternative ed resources, to complete partial/full credits, and to learn the skills needed to lead productive and pro-social lives.

Eligibility

Age 14 years to 19 years; Any youth on a Probation Order whose Probation Officer believes needs special academic or vocational programming or consultation * Any young person who is having difficulty finding a community school placement (following suspension or expulsion) * Any young person who is enrolled in a Section 23 classroom in a custody setting and is being discharged from mid-semester

Application

Young Persons interested in applying should fill out an application with their Probation Officer and/or with their Section 23 teacher or Guidance Counsellour and fax to the BRIDGE Program at 905-544-9933.
