Quit Smoking, Pan-Canadian Quitline Initiative

Provides individuals with free support to help them quit smoking. Trained specialists can provide counselling, help develop a quit smoking plan, answer questions, and provide referrals to programs and services in the community.

Services include:

- counselling

- referrals to local support services

- referrals to online tools and websites of provincial and territorial governments

- self-help materials

The quitline services also offer information and resources to individuals who wish to help someone else quit smoking.
