Age 18 years and older; Must be an Ontario resident, in financial need and meet the program’s definition of a person with a disability, or be a member of a Prescribed Class. If under 18, you can start the application process up to six months before your 18th birthday.


Apply online, by phone, or in person at your local ODSP office. If applying in person contact your local Ontario Disability Support Program Office to set up a meeting. The meeting is Part One of the application process and will determine eligibility for income support. Part two of the application determines disability status and is completed through the disability adjunct unit. This process will be explained during the Part One application.
