Residential Skills Development Program

Provides rehabilitation services and skills development to adults with a serious mental illness who live in residential care facilities. Rehabilitation Counsellors assist residents with developing various skills required for living, working, and learning successfully in the community. Individual short-term support and advocacy services available.  Instruction and support is provided to facilitate skill development in areas such as:

  • cooking
  • cleaning
  • laundry
  • budgeting
  • communication
  • social skills
  • community involvement
  • problem solving

Eligibility

Program is designed for adults with a serious mental illness living in a Residential Care Facility who voluntarily want to participate in the program.
