Provides services surrounding Ontario business licences. Services include:
- search for, register, renew, change, or cancel a business name
- form, change, renew or dissolve an Ontario limited partnership
- register, change, renew, or withdraw an extra-provincial limited partnership
Business name registrations are effective for 5 years. Most businesses can be registered online through the Integrated Business Services Application. Limited partnerships must be registered by mail or in-person. Information about limited partnership required forms and mailing addresses can be found online.
Open to all current or soon-to-be business owners in Ontario.
To register a business online complete the Integrated Business Services Application.
To register a business in person or by mail complete the appropriate application form and deliver it in person or mail it to the address on the form.
Business names may be searched and registered in person from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on regular business days at:
