Passive Aggressive Personalities

A personality disorder that is characterized by resistance to adequate performance in social and occupational areas. The resistance is expressed indirectly through manoeuvers such as procrastination, dawdling, stubbornness, intentional inefficiency and forgetfulness. Individuals who have this disorder persist in the passive-aggressive pattern of behaviour even under circumstances in which more assertive behaviour is possible.
