Real Estate Acquisition Assistance

Programs that help nonprofit organizations, small businesses and other groups acquire undeveloped land for utilization by the organization itself or a project to benefit the community as a whole. Included may be assistance in obtaining a reliable appraisal, understanding purchase options, negotiating the purchase, acquiring required licences and permits, completing title work, working with surveyors and architects, and, when necessary, dealing with displacement of current occupants who may be individuals, families, businesses, farms or other nonprofit organizations.
