IDHC provides programs and services focusing on the development, and enhancement of programs and services focusing on the education, prevention, and management of diabetes in Indigenous communities, both on and off-reserve.

Provides free loans of health equipment to individuals living with cancer. Equipment available includes: wheelchairs, commodes, rollators, walkers, bath rails etc.

All equipment is sanitized and tested for safety prior to loan.

Provides free emergency dental services for Hamilton residents who have low income or do not have dental insurance. Clients go to the location where the bus is parked to access services. 

Services include:

Provides nursing care for seniors and individuals of any age needing disease care, special needs care, or mental illness care. Services are offered both in private homes and in nursing homes and health care facilities.

Ontario provincial program that provides health-related items to people receiving Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) funding and people on low income.

Health related benefits include but are not limited to:

Doctors, nurses, and other health professionals assess and treat life-threatening injuries or severe illness.
