The Criminal Law Advice Duty Counsel is a service run out of the John Sopinka Courthouse. The program gives advice and assistance on criminal law matters for people who are not in court the day they attend the centre.

The Family Advice Duty Counsel is a service run out of the Family Law Information Centre. The program gives advice and assistance on family law matters for people who are not in court the day they attend the centre .

Curbside pick-up of garbage, bulk items, yard waste, compostables, and recyclables in the City of Hamilton is managed by the Environmental Services Division of the Public Works Department.  Community Recycling Centres offer additional services, in

HPL branches loan material in various formats to residents who live, work or attend school in Hamilton.  Material may be requested and sent to your library branch of choice.
