Hamilton Municipal Service Centres offer the following services:
Provides information and support to grandparents who feel alienated from access to their grandchildren and to parents estranged from their adult children
Provides court-connected on-site mediation services, comprehensive off-site mediation services, information & referral (IRC) services, and Mandatory Information Programs (MIP's). Internship and volunteer opportunities available.
Provides Deafblind individuals with accurate information in an appropriate manner to enable them to make choices, plan future actions, communicate successfully, navigate their environment, and achieve as much independence as possible.
Provides current information for all schedules, routes, and fares. Purchase and reload Presto cards, photo IDs, Senior Annual Pass, or Golden Age Pass. Phone line accepts comments and complaints about HSR services.
A program that advises a 911 operator that a deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, or speech impaired caller needs to communicate using text messaging instead of by voice.
Provides services to obtain, renew, replace, or change the information on accessible parking permits.
Offers employment services to people with disabilities.
Provides topical professional education, training, and seminars for caregivers and seniors. Sessions may include information such as advanced directives and senior safety.
Organizes victim registration which provides information to victims, their families and/or representatives of the federal offender who harmed them.
