Ontario provincial program that provides funding to help families who are caring for a child with a developmental and/or physical disability.

Funds are available to help the family hire someone to:

  • help the child learn new skills and abilities
  • provide respite support to the family

Peer support for those who have received a cancer diagnosis, their caregivers and families. Create a profile on the website to access this group.

Assists eligible clients with their short-term travel to attend their cancer-specific medical appointments or supportive care services delivered by a professional recognized by Ontario's Health Care System.  Services available to individuals or a whole family.  Opportunities for volunteer drivers are available and drivers are reimbursed for their expenses.

CCAS provides adoption and fostering education programs, home studies, adoption placement of children, post-placement counselling and support, and fulfillment of legal requirements to finalize placement of children for adoption.

This organization facilitates kinship adoption in which children needing out-of-home placements are paired with family members or other individuals known to the child/family.

Adult day program. Social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for older adults and people with disabilities in a group setting for part of the day. Helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care. Offers supported conversation groups for people with Aphasia, a communication disorder caused by stroke or an acquired brain injury.
