Hamilton Community Garden Network (HCGN) provides resources and tools needed to start, run, or participate in community garden development. Current community garden locations can be searched on the online map.
HCGN is currently organized by the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre's Hamilton Community Food Centre.
Full service lending library available to patients, families, staff, and the community. Includes books, DVD's, and brochures that are available for loan for up to 4 weeks. Part of the Hamilton Health Sciences Network.
Provides supplementary and emergency food, for residents of Hamilton mountain and neighbouring communities. Pet food assistance is also available. A mobile food bank is available for community members who are unable to get to travel to the Neighbour 2 Neighbour Centre.
Offers a variety of social, recreational, and educational programming for seniors living in the local community.
Catholic full day and before and after school child care programs in Hamilton Catholic Schools. Care is available to students of the school where the program is located as well as children of the students, school staff, and the community. Staff include trained Early Childhood Educators and students from the schools. Types of care may vary at each location. Contact for specific details.
Free program that combines language training and essential skills for the workplace. This program is a partnership between Mohawk College and Neighbour to Neighbour’s Hamilton Community Food Centre.
