Needle and Syringe Program

Offers free information and materials necessary to practice safer drug use and safer sex.  Provides referrals to other sources within the community regarding social services, drug and alcohol treatment centers, social workers, housing and welfare.  Provides education in harm reduction, associated health risks with drug use and how to decrease risk of HIV and other blood borne infections. 

Harm reduction supplies include:

  • Naloxone kits and dose refills
  • Syringes and needle tips
  • Sterile water
  • Alcohol swabs
  • Sterile cotton filters
  • Single-use sterile spoons and cookers
  • Tourniquets or ties
  • Vitamin C strips
  • Condoms
  • Lubricant
  • Dental dams
  • Safer inhalation supplies
