Tax Services for People with Disabilities

Due to COVID-19 the deadline for 2019 income tax returns has been extended from April 30 to June 1 2020.

Revenue Canada, Taxation has services available to aid the disabled taxpayer in filing their income tax return. Services Include Community Volunteer Program Free Tax Clinics, where trained community members aid in filling out tax returns for those who cannot do their own return. Mid February to April 30th. Assistance for persons who have a hearing or speech impairment include TTY (1-800-665-0354), and sign language interpreters upon request. Assistance for persons who have a vision impairment include publications, forms, and personal information documents in alternative formats such as braille, large print, etext, and MP3.
