Courses are designed to help participants increase their confidence when communicating with colleagues, supervisors, clients, or patients while expanding their understanding of Canadian workplaces.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- live in Ontario
- be a permanent resident, convention refugee/protected person, or a Ukrainian temporary resident or their dependent in Canada
- have benchmarks at level 6 to 8 from the English test taken at an official assessment centre in Ontario; to obtain assessment contact YMCA Immigrant Services at 905-662-9400 or 905-526-8452
- have training or experience from another country in business or health care sectors
