During COVID-19 all Immigrants Working Centre services and programs are being offered virtually or over the phone. More details about specific programs can be found on the website.

Provides support for immigrant and refugee families, as they adjust to life in Hamilton. Services are available for men and women. Childminding (Care for Newcomer Children) is available for parents accessing our services.

Services include:

Finding a place to live.

Learning English.

Finding employment.

Assistance with various forms and applications.

One-on-one verbal cultural interpretation and translation for clients.

Support in dealing with family issues.

Referrals for housing, healthcare, education, community services and bridging program.
