Hamilton. Hamilton Police Service Board

The civilian body responsible for enacting policies that ensure the provision of adequate and effective police services, law enforcement, and crime prevention within the city of Hamilton. Will determine, in consultation with the Chief of Police, objectives and priorities for the Hamilton Police Service. The board's authority is set out in Section 31 of the Ontario Police Services Act.
