Trillium Drug Program

Helps people who have high prescription drug costs, relative to their household income, and covers all drugs approved under the Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) program. For drug products that are not on the list of approved ODB products, your doctor may apply for special approval through the Exceptional Access Program (EAP).

Eligibility

Age 18 years and older; Eligible individuals must: * live in Ontario * have a valid Ontario health card number * not already qualify for the Ontario Drug Benefit program (for example, you are not enrolled in a program such as Ontario Works) * not have an insurance plan that pays for 100% of your drugs * spend about 4% or more of your after-tax household income on prescription-drug costs
