Hamilton Housing Help Centre

Due to COVID-19 the Housing Help Centre is now closed to walk-in visits. Services are available via phone and email.

Provides support to individuals who are experiencing homelessness or are on a low income. Daily listings of available housing units available for every income level, as well as lists of residential care centres, retirement and seniors residents, supportive housing, shelters, transitional housing, and long term care homes. Support for landlord and tenant issues, rights, and responsibilities. Referrals and assistance with other community programs including Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), H.E.L.P emergency loan program, housing stability benefit, Hamilton PAWS pet support and bed bug assistance. Also runs street outreach programs.

English; Interpretive Services; The Language Interpretation Service is: Telephone-based providing interpreters in over 100 languages. Caller identifies their language and waits approx. 2 minutes to have the interpreter join the call. The caller will receive up-to-date tenancy information in their language.
