Music theatre program for young people, giving them the opportunity to learn about and develop a love for musical theatre and the performing arts. Also offers two-week summer camps for ages 4-13
Stage 1: Jitterbugs (ages 4-6) - introduces children to the world of music, dance, drama, and visual arts. Students learn about the basics of performance while building towards a final show at the end of the session.
Stage 2: Skill Builders (grades 2-8) - helps students develop concrete skills as singers, actors, and dancers.
Stage 2: Summer Performance Camp (grades 2-8) - campers participate in vocal music, drama, dance, and theatre production classes daily, while focusing on putting on a final performance at the end of the session.
Stage 2: Junior Broadway (grades 5-8) - helps students learn and grow as performers, while building a full Broadway Junior musical that is performed on the Theatre Ancaster main stage.
Stage 2: GLEE (grades 5-8) - helps students learn and grow as singers and dancers in a choral ensemble while building towards a concert that is performed on the Theatre Ancaster main stage.
Stage 3: The Young Company (grades 9-12) - provides a supportive and encouraging environment for teenagers at any level to grow as performers as they work together to produce a full Broadway musical.
Open to all children ages 4 to 15 years.
