Labour Community Advocate Training Program

An accredited, three-level program to build skills relating to representation and support in the workplace, community activism, and retiree engagement.

  • Level 1 - Provides workplace representatives the skills and knowledge to help coworkers find help and access services at difficult times, and promotes community activism.
  • Level 2 - Community Projects trains individuals who wish to use the skills learned in Level 1 to be more hands-on in a community project.
  • Level 3 - Labour Retiree Engagement encourages greater social inclusion, community engagement, and volunteer opportunities for labour retirees who wish to continue being active and involved in their communities.
