Promotes the rights of children and their families through education, research and advocacy, acts as a legal aid clinic that specializes in protecting the rights of low-income children and youth facing conflicts with the legal system, education, social service or mental health systems.

Provides legal services to young people. By email, will only provide legal information about the rights of young people in Ontario. By phone an intake worker will take down contact information, brief details about situation and when to expect a call back. JFCY provides up to 30 minutes of free legal advice and additional services may be available for those who meet JFCY's eligibility requirements.
