Assists adults with physical disabilities who are in financial need to purchase assistive devices that increase their mobility and functional independence. The program helps to buy, repair, and maintain a wide variety of mobility/assistive equipment as well as provide contact information/resources to assist locating additional funding sources.
Some devices that may qualify for funding include: Manual and Power Wheelchairs, Scooters, Replacement Batteries, Walkers, Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (KAFO), Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO), Home and Bath Aids, Floor Patient Lifts, Basic Aids for Daily Living, Repairs to Existing Devices

To be eligible, applicants must:
- have a on-going physical disability that requires the use of an assistive device.
- have financial need (refer to the income chart on the website)
- be 19 years of age or older
- be a permanent Ontario resident
