Indigenous Friendship Centres

Multipurpose centres in urban settings that welcome members of First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities and offer a wide variety of culturally appropriate services and activities, including general support for those who are new to urban life. Services may include community events, educational programs, support groups, library resources, recreational programs, liaison with other community organizations and counselling on employment, housing, education and health.

Aims to improve the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of Aboriginal children and their families by offering a wide range of events and activities that focus on cultural awareness, physical activities, arts and crafts, life skills, and strengthening family relationships.

An Indigenous organization that provides quality programs and services to the Indigenous and non-Indigenous population in Hamilton, Brantford and surrounding areas.
