Ontario Breast Screening Program

Provides high-quality breast screening services including mammography and breast self-examination education for women age 50 and older who have no previous history of breast cancer. Offers a rapid breast assessment clinic where results are discussed with patients by a breast surgeon within a week of initial biopsy.
A Cancer Care Ontario program, this site is operated by St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and accredited by the Canadian Association of Radiologists Mammography Accreditation Program (CARMAP).

Application Instructions

Self-referrals can be made by patients aged 50-74 by calling 905-522-1155 x38309. Physician's referral is required for patients age 49 and younger, call 905-573-4849.
